Ralph Rembel
Ralph Rembel was born in Krefeld, Germany in 1960 and lived in Switzerland until his family moved to Sydney, Australia in 1965. Having decided to become an Architect at an early age he worked with his Father on construction sites since the age of 12 until completing University. Studied Classical Guitar throughout his School years, then Architecture at University of New South Wales between 1978-84. Completed Bachelor of Architecture with honours UNSW. Participated in final year design studio under the guidance of Glenn Murcutt. An invitation to join Marsh Freedman Associates in late 1984 came as a result of his final year design work being exhibited. Worked as an employee and later Associate from 1984 to 1996. In 1996 became a Partner of George Freedman Associates which was renamed Freedman Rembel in 2002. Ralph lives in the Sydney Beachside Suburb of Coogee with wife Diane and daughter Michaela.
